We were very impressed with the Imabari Kokusai Hotel. It is truly an elegant property with a wonderful lobby and choice on-site restaurant choices. I especially enjoyed the huge ship models in the lobby, paying homage to Imabari's ship building industry. We would not hesitate to stay again and will make time during our next visit to have a drink at the bar and soak in the view of the Seto Inland Sea at dusk. The onsen was very relaxing and the pleasant buffet breakfast was a treat!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay in a renovated commercial property dating back to at least the first half of1900's, if not earlier. The rooms were very tastefully decorated, which gives it a distinctive Japanese feel, but with all modern amenities. The morning breakfast made from local, seasonal ingredients was del8cious and a great experience in itself. The staff were very friendly and dedicated, and the service was outstanding. All in all, a pleasant time. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Overall it was a great hotel to stay. Breakfast was great, too!
